1000 Praying Men

Date & Location: October 1-3, 2010. Shocco Springs Baptist Conference Center, 1314 Shocco Springs Road, Talladega, AL 35161.

Description: Men have not fulfilled their rightful role in society or in the church, and as a result are deficient in their self-esteem and their service. This weekend is designed to help men to have a correct sense of who they are, and where they should be. Prayer will be central and men will leave strengthened and empowered.

Who Should Attend: Any male 18 years or above who is interested in taking his rightful place in society and in leading spiritually.

Featured Speakers: Nevilon Meadows, CEO, Men Under Development; Michael Polite, Associate Pastor, Riverside Chapel; Deora Johnson, Chairman, Counseling Department, Oakwood University.

Lodging: Your lodging will be assigned at the Shocco Springs Baptist Conference Center, 1314 Shocco Springs Road, Talladega, AL 35161. If you are planning to stay in a quad room, you will be sleeping in two shared double beds. There is one lodge, a distance away from the conference center, which has one double, one bunk, and one twin bed per room. Please note your lodging option at the time of your registration.

Meals: You will receive Friday supper; breakfast, lunch and supper on Sabbath, and breakfast on Sunday with your paid registration fee.
