Oregon Fall Prayer Retreat 2010

Description: Persons attending the prayer retreat will be drawn closer to God as they enrich their prayer life and are filled with the Holy Spirit.

Who Should Attend: This prayer retreat is designed for adults and older youth wanting to be filled with the Holy Spirit and increase their spiritual life through prayer.

Featured Speakers: Kevin Wilfley, Pastor Spokane Linwood Church. Kevin Wilfley is the pastor of the Spokane Linwood Seventh-day Adventist Church in the Upper Columbia Conference where he has served for the past six years. His pastoral experience has included 19 years in the Oregon Conference and 11 years in the Upper Columbia Conference. Since 1989 Pastor Wilfley has spoken on the subjects of prayer, the Holy Spirit, revival and evangelism at churches, camp meetings, and ministerial gatherings all over North America and Scotland. He is also the author of "Studies on the Holy Spirit", a study guide developed to assist individuals and small groups in their spiritual development. Pastor Wilfley, and his wife, Dolly have three grown and married children, and four grandchildren.

Lodging: Full event registration includes lodging at the Grove Christian Camp, 37028 Shoreview Dr, Dorena, OR 97434. Your lodging will be assigned by management staff in camp cabins. Cabins for men and women are located in separate areas of the camp. Please list the name of your preferred roommate at the time of your registration. Please bring your own bedding and towels. You may bring your own camper and park on-site. Grove Christian Camp is located 12 miles east of Cottage Grove, Oregon. It is situated on 104 acres of forest along the Row River in the heart of the Willamette Valley, surrounded by the beauty of God’s creation. A Commuter registration does not include lodging.

Meals: You will receive supper on Friday, breakfast and a late lunch on Sabbath, and brunch on Sunday with your paid registration fee. All meals will be served with vegetarian fare.

On-Site Event Registration and Check-in: You may register and check-in on Friday, November 5, 2010 from 2:00-5:30 pm. You may pay the $100 Late Registration fee with cash or a check or money order made out to the Cottage Grove Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Children: As a courtesy to other participants, and to maximize your benefit during this event, we ask that you make other plans for the care of your children.
